Every REDESO branch office is headed by a branch Manager/Project Coordinator who reports directly to the Country Chief Executive Officer based at the REDESO headquarters in Dar Es Salaam,REDESO has an executive committee consisting of not less than seven (7) members of the Association whose duty is to carry out the general policy of the Association, and, subject to any conditions imposed from time to time by the Association, to provide for the administration, management and control of the affairs and property of the Association.The executive committee consists of:

  1. Such number of representatives of full members, to be elected from among and by themselves at the general meeting.
  2. The Chairman has power to appoint representatives not exceeding one-fourth of the members in the executive committee whom he considers their contribution to the Association necessary due to their training and experience. The executive committee has power to co-opt persons not being members of the Association to serve on the committee, PROVIDED that the number of such co-opted members shall not exceed one-fourth of the total number of elected members serving on the committee. Members of the executive committee serve for a period of five years but are be eligible for re-election. The executive committee has power to invite any official of any statutory authority to attend its meeting as an observer but without power to vote.
  3. The executive committee meets not less than three times a year. Any casual vacancy in the executive committee is filled up by the executive committee and any person appointed to fill such a casual vacancy shall hold office until the conclusion of the unexpired term and shall be eligible for re-election. The proceedings of the executive committee can not be invalidated by any failure to appoint or any defect in the appointment election or qualification of any member.
